Tulendeena Farmgate is a boutique orchard providing farm produce at a roadside stand on the Tasman Highway, 14 km east of Scottsdale. Gail’s preserves, chutneys, jams and marmalades are made in small batches to produce homemade flavours using ingredients sourced primarily from the Tulendeena farm
Summer months produce gooseberries and raspberries, and after Christmas, apricots from Richmond are available. Cherries are tasty during January with February and March producing several varieties of plums. Autumn is the season for quinces, apples and pears. Honey is also available.
Watch out for Michael around the farm – he’s a passionate home grown local farmer and enjoys talking up the regions natural assets. Described as “Rustic” in the nicest possible way, this country gentlemen is happy to share a yarn with anyone that has the time to listen.
