The Village Market has always been very popular, with good crowd attendances and a great variety of stall holders with handcrafted goods.
Just a few of the items may include wooden toys, cushions, jewellery, bags, soft toys, soap, soy candles, chutneys & cakes, art dolls & birds, children’s clothing, hand knitting, quilts and even furniture that has a had a modern makeover. There may also be new season seedlings, plants, olive oil, wine and fresh veggies.
The Bridport Textile Group often have an embroidered quilt for raffle, with proceeds going to the CWA Tasmania.
The market is all about unique handcrafted goods made by the stall holder.

While elsewhere in Tasmania people are tucking up by the fire and going into winter hibernation, North East Tasmania comes alive to celebrate and showcase local arts and crafts annually on the June long weekend.
