Halls Falls – Pyengana

A well-marked 1 hour return walk to these pretty cascading falls, which drop from a man-made weir at different levels into delightful rock pools. Easy walking.

Turn off the A3 near Pyengana onto Anchor Road.  Approx 0.8 km up this road is the start of the Halls Falls walk.  Note the stumps of huge trees felled over 100 years ago by early settlers.

Annual Arts Festival

While elsewhere in Tasmania people are tucking up by the fire and going into winter hibernation, North East Tasmania comes alive to celebrate and showcase local arts and crafts annually on the June long weekend.
